On December 15, Dimitri Tsintsadze Foundation's conference-presentation was held, which was organized by the UG MEDIA Club of University of Georgia. Members of the foundation, students and university administration representatives took part in the event.
The UG Media Club is based on the initiative of the freshmen journalists, which engages in many activities in order to better understand their future profession. The founders of the club: Maka Mchedlishvili, Tatia Tutisani, Mariam Meurmishvili, Nutsa Natelashvili, Giorgi Rukhadze, Ramaz Tkhilaishvili and Mancho Nikuradze are organizers of many interesting activities. Exactly on their initiative the foundation was presented to the students and proffesors at the university conference hall.
Within the framework of the conference, we presented the film about the foundation. The members of the council of the foundation: Rusudan Tskhomelidze, Merab Metreveli and Eka Noniashvili answered students' questions. The director and founder of the fund, Kakha Janashvili read the report about the future plans of the foundation. At the end, Chancellor of the University made a very important statement about signing a bilateral memorandum. This is an unprecedented example of cooperation between the foundation and the educational institution. We hope that other universities will also share this expirience.
We have another friend, supporter and donor in the form of "University of Georgia", which means that we will save more lives together.
