Mariam Paraskebashvili was born with rare anomaly - atresia of
gall-bladder. 6 months old baby had liver transplant surgery in
Izmir Clinic, Turkey. Operation was successful. Once in six months,
the child was taken to a doctor in Turkey and her health condition
was normal.
Since 2012 the family was not able to take her to consultations and
her condition got worse. With the help of their relatives, Mariam
was again taken to Izmir Clinic, a new diagnosis was set: embryonal
rhabdomyosarcoma. Spleen was removed. Mariam had 2 courses of
chemotherapy and they returned to Georgia. After the return, her
health condition worsened. The family applied for help to our fund.
Her next visit to Izmir was financed by us. At this stage she is
stable.
