Giorgi Chitorelidze was 2 years old when he was diagnosed with
acute lymphoblastic leukemia. After the first chemotherapy course,
the remission was achieved.
He was on protection therapy. But after the year the first
recurrence was developed. After the 18 radiation procedures and
chemotherapy the condition was stabilized. But later, the third
recurrence developed. Bone marrow transplantation was decided. The
family departed for Germany, later came infromation about their
registration as IDPs.
