Lika Kapanadze is one of the first beneficiaries of the fund. Lika
is now 6 years old and she has been diagnosed with aplastic anemia
for 2 years.
Last year she had bone marrow transplantation surgery at Verona
Clinic, Italy. Currently her condition is satisfactory. Treatment
and monitoring are performed according to the recommendation of
Onco-hematology department of the University Hospital of Verona at
Iashvili clinic. Once in 6 months with the help of the fund, Lika
will go to Verona for check-up. At this stage immunosuppressive
therapy is underway.
